  • Can move arms with shoulder and bicep muscles

Respiratory Care

  • No ventilator assistance
  • Quad cough assistance

Mobility

  • Can operate a power wheelchair with hand controls
  • Can operate a manual wheelchair for short distances on flat surfaces (e-motion wheelchair is the best choice)
  • Power tilt recommended for pressure relief (manual pressure relief by leaning side to side)

Daily Living

  • Independence possible with specially designed equipment (drinking, eating, bathing, driving)
